Gender Equality

Gender disparities in the development mainstream as a burning and emerged issue has been existence for decades, which has been taken care of by OSVSWA. Awareness campaigns were conducted; information regarding gender balance and its importance is widely shared by one-to-one discussions, group discussions among the communities where it is widely practiced.

The matter of gender inequality is highlighted and equal participation in decision making process, management, employment; inclusion in education is persuaded through OSVSWA’s regular activities. Rural women are more of marginalized, where OSVSWA has been extending programmes enhancing skills and capabilities of SHGs; availing computer education for the girls (along with men) to reconstruct the moral strength of women to put forward a step in the development process.
